Osteoarthritis knee (OA knee) has been an irritating issue in elderly by affecting their mobility, sleep quality, quality of life and emotions. In Hong Kong, from the information released by the Hospital Authority, it is noticeable that the median waiting time for total joint replacement surgery, until 30 June 2020, was between 16 to 28 months, while some patients need to wait for a maximum of 67 months (Hospital Authority Hong Kong, 2020).
